The Export-Import Bank of the Republic of China (Eximbank) continues to deepen the sustainable development of enterprises, support and respond to signing TCFD initiative

The Export-Import Bank of the Republic of China (Eximbank) officially signed on to the Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) issued by the International Financial Stability Board (FSB) in 2022, and vowed to become a supporter of TCFD and continue to deepen the determination of enterprise sustainability.


In addition, in response to climate change, Eximbank will introduce the TCFD initiative's framework, and aim to four major aspects: governance, strategy, risk management, metrics and targets as the disclosure elements to conduct differentiation analysis, and establish management mechanisms such as identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting. Through the identification of highly climate-sensitive sectors and quantitative analysis of financial impact, Eximbank more accurately quantifies the impact of climate change on their internal operations.
