On February 19, 2019, the Export-Import Bank of the Republic of China (Eximbank) held the Investment Promotion Conference on Eswatini Royal Science and Technology Park at The Okura Prestige Taipei. Nearly 100 representatives from enterprises and government agencies attended the conference.
Ms. Pei-Jean Liu, President of Eximbank, first pointed out that The Kingdom of Eswatini, Taiwan’s only diplomatic ally in Africa, has maintained a solid relationship with Taiwan for over 50 years. Africa is a booming market with strong investment opportunities, hence the growth potential of this market should not be overlooked. Being located in the superior geographical position in Africa, the Kingdom of Eswatini is therefore the important base for Taiwanese companies to develop the African market.
